What I love about otaku’s is we have a passion for something that reflects and touches a part of our soul- to the point that it becomes a defining characteristic of who we are. Being unapologetically yourself can be hard in this world. Coming together to meet others that share the same or similar passion while being uniquely you is something everyone needs to feel a sense of belonging. We can celebrate and share our differences, knowing, we all have something in common-which is that manga, anime, show, game, or character that holds a special place in our heart. I think thats cool.
